OIKOS is a biological / nematostatic insecticide of vegetable origin. It is systemic and acts by contact and ingestion in a wide spectrum of larval pests. OIKOS is a regulator of the growth of insects, intervenes in the molting process by inhibiting the synthesis of ecdysone and chitin. It also intervenes in the functions of pests that are also disturbed (fertility, communication, oviposition).
OIKOS has nematostatic action on L2 larvae free of nematodes, as well as the reduction of incubation of eggs and ovisac.
This particular mode of action makes OIKOS the ideal partner in IPM programs and in resistance management.
